Robin was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. She attended the University of Missouri for both her undergraduate and graduate education. In 2009, she graduated with a Bachelors of Health Sciences and then graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2011. After spending six years in Missouri and her childhood in Illinois, Robin was ready for a change. She moved to Alaska in July of 2011 after falling in love with the state during frequent visits throughout graduate school.
Robin is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Robin’s primary areas of interest in physical therapy include general orthopedics, wellness, sports, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Robin’s treatment philosophy is based on guided exercise with an emphasis on correct alignment and mechanics. She believes that through this treatment approach, patients will be able to decrease impairments and pain while increasing functional abilities. Robin’s primary goal as a physical therapist is to provide compassionate and effective care to assist patients’ return to their desired activities. |
